ECM New Year’s Potluck – Jan 21
Happy New Year! There’s a whole lot of Change-Making going on!
Please join us for a New Year’s Potluck on Weds Jan 21, and find out about all the projects ECM has underway. Meet new friends and join in the fun!
As we segue from 2014 into 2015, some of the things ECM is involved with include:
- Working with LA Bread Bakers Guild to create a “Community Bake” event
- Building a Permaculture Food Forest addition to the Community Garden at Holy Nativity
- Building a cob bread oven, which the community can use
- Helping various organizations understand Divestment, which is basically how to un-invest in fossil fuels
- Hosting Pro-Action Cafe events to incubate sustainability-oriented small businesses
- The new phase of the project to create a GMO-Free Zone in Los Angeles
- take ECM’s Garden Education for the general public “on the road” to locations around LA
- Facebook and Social Media campaigns to help people understand what each of us can do to make the world a better place
Interested? Want to join in the fun and help make any of these happen? Join the team on Jan 21.
